GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated all chairs are covered by a 5 year manufactures guarantee, 2 years for fabric, under normal conditions. For continual 24 hour use the guarantee is 1 year for the chair and fabric, in all cases the guarantee is subject to normal usage.

SHIPPING

1. Delivery is free within mainland Britain.

2. All chairs are despatched in approximately 21 - 25 Working day’s from receipt of cleared funds. Depending on model, additional options and quantity. Delays in shipping caused by circumstances beyond our our control.excepted

3. Please note that deliveries to the Isle of Man, Orkney, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Shetland, Scottish Islands & The E.E.C. will be liable to a carriage charge and take a little longer to be delivered. Please contact us at enquiries@verd.co.uk for a cost to ship to these destinations

Returns Policy

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods for damage on arrival and the carrier is obliged to wait while the goods are inspected. If the goods are damaged or the carrier will not wait, please accept the goods and sign the delivery note “DAMAGED” retaining a copy. In the event that the goods arrive damaged, you must notify Verd Orthopaedic Seating by email within 48 hours of delivery of the apparent damage or missing parts. All products come with a parts guarantee. In the event of a missing, damaged or faulty part a replacement chair or part will be sent. However if you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsoever you may, within seven working days after the day of delivery, notify us by e-mail that you would like to return the goods, however It is your responsibility to pay for and arrange the return of the goods, “as new” and with the original packaging. All manufacturers restocking fees will be charged. Any money which Verd Orthopaedic Seating has received from you in relation to the returned goods will be refunded, less restocking fees, and an administration charge of 12.5%, to you within 30 days of the receipt of the goods by us, provided that the goods are in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery. In the event that no e-mail notification stating that you wish to return the goods has been received by Verd Orthopaedic Seating within seven working days after the day of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.

Order Cancellation
If the Buyer notifies Verd Orthopaedic Seating that the Goods are no longer required more than 24 hours after the date of the Order, Verd Orthopaedic Seating shall be entitled to make a charge against the Buyer in respect of the administrative expenses incurred by the Company in carrying out the Order. Where a product has gone into Manufacture and the Buyer notifies Verd Orthopaedic Seating that the Order is cancelled, Verd Orthopaedic Seating shall be entitled to make a charge against the Buyer of no less than 25% of the sale value of the Goods in respect of resale costs and administration costs incurred by the company in carrying out the Order.

Payment Methods

We accept all major Credit and Debit cards. All Credit and Debit cards are authenticated only and no monies are taken at the time of placing an order.

Approximately 5 days prior to despatch the card is authorised and payment is taken. We also accept payment by Cheque, Postal Order, BACS or CHAPS, however chairs are only despatched after the payment has cleared in our bank account.

Please note that we do not accept payment by American Express.
