In these Terms and Conditions “we, our, us, Verd OS" refers to “Verd OS”.

ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing the content of www.verd.co.uk (“the Website”) you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out herein and you accept our privacy policy available at www.verd.co.uk/catalog/privacy.php. If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the products or services on the Website and leave immediately.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Verd OS will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website.

Nothing within this Agreement will operate to exclude any liability for death or personal injury arising as result of the negligence of Verd OS, its employees or agents.

All intellectual property of Verd OS such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of Verd OS.

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England and any user of the Website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.

Warranty

Unless otherwise stated all chairs are covered by a 5 year manufactures guarantee, 2 years for fabric, under normal conditions. For continual 24 hour use the guarantee is 1 year for the chair and fabric, in all cases the guarantee is subject to normal usage.

SHIPPING

1. Delivery is free within mainland Britain.

2. All chairs are despatched usually within 10 - 15 Working day’s from receipt of cleared funds. Depending on model, additional options and quantity.

3. Please note that deliveries to the Isle of Man, Orkney, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Shetland, Scottish Islands & The E.E.C. will be liable to a carriage charge and take a little longer to be delivered. Please contact us at enquiries@verd.co.uk for a cost to ship to these destinations

Returns Policy

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods for damage on arrival and the carrier is obliged to wait while the goods are inspected. If the goods are damaged or the carrier will not wait, please accept the goods and sign the delivery note “DAMAGED” retaining a copy. In the event that the goods arrive damaged, you must notify Verd OS by email within 48 hours of delivery of the apparent damage or missing parts. All products come with a parts guarantee. In the event of a missing, damaged or faulty part a replacement chair or part will be sent. However if you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason whatsoever you may, within seven working days after the day of delivery, notify us by e-mail that you would like to return the goods, however It is your responsibility to pay for and arrange the return of the goods, “as new” and with the original packaging. All manufacturers restocking fees will be charged. Any money which Verd OS has received from you in relation to the returned goods will be refunded, less restocking fees, and an administration charge of 12.5%, to you within 30 days of the receipt of the goods by us, provided that the goods are in the same condition they were in at the time of delivery. In the event that no e-mail notification stating that you wish to return the goods has been received by Verd OS within seven working days after the day of delivery, you shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.

Order Cancellation
If the Buyer notifies Verd OS that the Goods are no longer required more than 24 hours after the date of the Order, Verd OS shall be entitled to make a charge against the Buyer in respect of the administrative expenses incurred by the Company in carrying out the Order.

Payment Methods

As well as credit/debit card payments we are also pleased to accept payments by cheque, made payable to Verd OS. Goods are not despatched until funds are cleared.
