Acting upon the advice of an Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist, we have re shaped the backrest to provide the same excellent lumbar support, whilst at the same time preventing any possibility of the backrest causing hunching ( this can be a contributing cause of back ache) and in the process opening up the accessible user height to 6' 1".

To enhance the working life of the chair, Bradbury Flamblend is now the standard fabric choice. This fabric is hard wearing
and also treated for stain resistance.
The new backrest also allows for the inclusion of 2 additional options, these being an Inflatable Thoracic panel for additional upper back support and an Inflatable Sacrum panel for very lower back support, this panel is positioned below the lumbar region There is new option to add a memory foam topper for the backrest for superior comfort. .

Activ+ 6 encourages correct posture with distinctive support curvature and common
adjustment features. As standard The chair has a new heavy duty mechanism with A/Synchronised movement which offers the flexibility of an independent adjustment, of seat and backrest angles with separate lever controls. New heavy duty operator lever paddles have also been added. The mechanism also includes a bodyweight tension control system. The back height adjustment is by means of a simple leverless lift-up system offering easy adjustment.
Activ+ 6 chairs are exceptional for use as a back care chair as well as for broad-spectrum office use, they are corrective and preventative by design.
