Orthopaedia® Sprung Seat Core
The Vertebral V704 comes with a unique and responsive Orthopaedia® seat core as a standard feature. This seat core uses a spring system manufactured in Europe that guarantees to maintain 97% of its height over a 10-year period. It provides excellent orthopaedic support, making it an ideal office chair. The Ortho springs reduce and equalize the pressure on the sciatic nerve, sacroiliac joints, and pelvic girdle. These are the three most common causes of back pain in sedentary workers, aside from injury. Moreover, the springs reduce spinal compression, supporting and moving with the body. This results in reduced levels of stress on the body's structure and significantly improved core stability.
This chair is equipped with a SATRA certified heavy-duty mechanism that can handle up to 150kgs and is suitable for 24-hour use. The mechanism allows for infinite adjustment along the scope of travel, enabling seat tilt and backrest angle adjustment. Additionally, it features bodyweight tension control and a backrest that can be easily adjusted using a lift-up ratchet system. The chair also comes with an inflatable lumbar support, seat depth adjustment, and a heavy-duty Polished Aluminium base as standard features. For added reliability, an exceptionally heavy-duty gas lift is also included.
Not all office seating sold in the UK conforms to UK fire regulations for use in the home, this was very apparent during the lockdown when home working was the norm. Delivery
Chairs & Leg Rests
The production time for chairs varies depending on the model and quantity, and may take up to 15 working days from the date of your order. This period includes the manufacturing process for each chair, as well as the selection of options and upholstery colours.
After your chair/s are manufactured, we ship them via carrier or van using next-day delivery. For deliveries to mainland UK, this service is either free or costs £20.00 plus VAT, depending on the manufacturer. Additional charges apply for addresses in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man.
Chairs delivered by carrier are packaged in high-quality, sturdy boxes to eliminate any damage during transit. In the off chance there may have been damage in transit, please make sure you contact us within 2 days of delivery.
The chairs are packed carefully and securely, and as such, there is a small amount of self-assembly. These are not flat-packed, where you require tools. All components, such as arms, are already fitted with everything slotting together, so assembly is simple and speedy.
The PS06 and Xcel chairs and their variants may be delivered fully built, depending on location.
