OK so how does this work? Well first of all the spring has to be a made from steel that has to be a particular gauge. If it’s too thin and the spring can collapse, if it’s too hard and the seat would be too hard. The gauge of spring used in the Posture-Pocket system is just right and allows free movement, it will not collapse and it’s suitable for people weighing 25 stone (159kgs), while being flexible enough for somebody weighing 9 stone (57kgs) to be comfortable and gain the benefits of this seat.

Each seat has a minimum of 72 individual pocket springs (standard seat) encased in high density core foam, this is topped off with a layer of high quality memory foam to increase the comfort level, our Posture-Pocket+ seat has 3 layers of memory foam applied. This is an option to give even more comfort and is also helpful for people with very low back pain.
