Ergo Postural 'Contour ' is an advanced task chair , offering outstanding back support through a sculpted backrest that follows the spine. It supports the lumbar, kidney and upper back areas.

'Contour' includes independent adjustment as standard, allowing you to adjust seat height, angle and depth separately. The backrest height and angle can also be adjusted using a simple lift-up ratchet system. All angle settings can be locked anywhere within the adjustment range. The chair is made in the UK to our specification, conforms to BS 5459: Part 2:2000, and has a maximum user weight of 150kg (23.5 stone).

Optional extras include a high-quality Reflexion® memory foam seat. Commonly used in healthcare, this foam was developed to improve posture and reduce pressure on the sacroiliac joints, pelvic girdle and ischial tuberosities, often known as the ‘sit bones’, which may help relieve lower back pain.

Other options include inflatable sacrum and thoracic panels, plus a range of height-adjustable armrests.

'Contour' is upholstered in fabric that meets UK fire regulations for both office and home use. Not all office seating offers this level of compliance.
