Ergo Postural 'Contour Petite' is an advanced task chair for smaller users, offering outstanding back support through a sculpted backrest that follows the spine. It supports the lumbar, kidney and upper back areas.
Includes inflatable lumbar support and seat depth adjustment as standard.
With more people working from home, it’s worth noting that not all office chairs sold in the UK meet the fire safety requirements for domestic use. All of our office seating complies with UK fire safety standards for both home and workplace settings.

Suitable for users 4’ 11” to 5’ 4” (1.47m - 1.65m) and average build.
'Contour-Petite' includes independent adjustment as standard, allowing you to adjust seat height, angle and depth separately. The backrest height and angle can also be adjusted using a simple lift-up ratchet system. All angle settings can be locked anywhere within the adjustment range. The chair is made in the UK to our specification, conforms to BS 5459: Part 2:2000, and has a maximum user weight of 150kg (23.5 stone).
Optional extras include a high-quality Reflexion® memory foam seat. Commonly used in healthcare, this foam was developed to improve posture and reduce pressure on the sacroiliac joints, pelvic girdle and ischial tuberosities, often known as the ‘sit bones’, which may help relieve lower back pain.
Other options include inflatable sacrum and thoracic panels, plus a range of height-adjustable armrests.
'Contour' Petite is upholstered in fabric that meets UK fire regulations for both office and home use. Not all office seating offers this level of compliance.
Includes a full 5-year manufacturer’s guarantee, with fabric covered for 8-hour use or 2 years for 24-hour use. Fair wear and tear is excluded.

Chairs & Leg Rests
The production time for chairs varies depending on the model and quantity, and may take up to 15 working days from the date of your order. This period includes the manufacturing process for each chair, as well as the selection of options and upholstery colours.
After your chair/s are manufactured, we ship them via carrier or van using next-day delivery. For deliveries to mainland UK, this service is either free or costs £20.00 plus VAT, depending on the manufacturer. Additional charges apply for addresses in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man.
Chairs delivered by carrier are packaged in high-quality, sturdy boxes to eliminate any damage during transit. In the off chance there may have been damage in transit, please make sure you contact us within 2 days of delivery.
The chairs are packed carefully and securely, and as such, there is a small amount of self-assembly. These are not flat-packed, where you require tools. All components, such as arms, are already fitted with everything slotting together, so assembly is simple and speedy.
The PS06 and Xcel chairs and their variants may be delivered fully built, depending on location. Other Products
All other products are generally shipped within 2/3 working days from ordering. Shipping is either by Royal Mail or other carrier on a 48-hour service.

I'm 5'2 and desk chairs in offices and shops are always catered to tall people. Now that I work from home, it was time to invest in a good chair, fit for my build. At 5'4, I'm average height for a woman, yet I have searched my entire adult life for a chair that I don't swim in. Finding PostureSmart was a revelation. I am delighted with my Contour Petite chair, which is not only comfortable and excellently designed for someone of my size, but is a fraction of the price of other brands that charge a premium for their ergonomic design, while in fact only fitting much larger people. Customer service was fantastic, and this despite the fact that it was the very beginning of lockdown. Peter is knowledgeable and friendly, and gave me a helpful consultation over the phone where he considered my measurements and suggested different options, always genuinely trying to figure out what would best meet my needs and never trying to up-sell me.
