The PS07CM Task Chair is designed with accessibility in mind. Its main control paddles can be positioned on either the left or right side of the seat, ensuring easy access for users. Developed specifically for stroke sufferers and individuals with left or right side weakness, this chair allows convenient adjustment of height, angle, and seat depth. Unlike many standard office chairs, where main controls are attached to the mechanism and require the user to lean over to make adjustments, the PS07CM offers a more accessible approach.
The only control located on the right side of the chair is the bodyweight tension controller. This allows you to set the chair angle or free-float tension to your preferred level, typically a one-time adjustment when setting up the chair.
Ergonomic Features
The PS07CM comes standard with an extra high backrest featuring lumbar support and seat depth adjustment. It is generally suitable for people between 5' 4" and 6' 2" (1.63m – 1.88m) tall and of average build. To accommodate a wider range of users, there are options for additional seat depths and a smaller backrest, making it suitable for both taller and smaller individuals. Synchronised Mechanism with Dynamic Back Support
The chair features a synchronised mechanism with a 2:1 ratio, meaning the backrest moves 2 degrees for every 1 degree of seat movement. This provides a seamless transition between leaning back and sitting upright. The backrest can be locked in multiple positions or left unlocked, in which case it remains dynamic.
Dynamic back support. When the chair is in its free-float (unlocked) position, it becomes dynamic, with the backrest providing continual support by moving with the user. For instance, the backrest moves forward when working at a desk and backward when reclining, such as during phone calls or Zoom meetings.
Posture-Pocket Sprung Seat System
The innovative Posture-Pocket Pocket Sprung seat system is available as an option, with a choice between firm and comfort settings.
The Posture-Pocket cushion is uniquely designed to improve posture and relieve lower back pain and sciatica. It consists of individual pocket springs encased in foam, topped with memory foam. This cushion provides ongoing support, reducing spinal compression and improving core stability. Its affordable price makes it a compelling alternative to standard 3-inch (75mm) seat cushions. Additionally, it helps reduce pressure on the sacroiliac joints and pelvic girdle, ideal for those with related concerns.

The PS07CM is manufactured in the United Kingdom by a specialist to meet specific requirements and complies with BS 5459: Part 2:2000. The chair supports a maximum weight of 190.5kg (30 stone). Meeting rigorous manufacturing standards, it is recognised as a premium product, reflecting the commitment to quality.

Chairs & Leg Rests
The production time for chairs varies depending on the model and quantity, and may take up to 15 working days from the date of your order. This period includes the manufacturing process for each chair, as well as the selection of options and upholstery colours.
After your chair/s are manufactured, we ship them via carrier or van using next-day delivery. For deliveries to mainland UK, this service is either free or costs £20.00 plus VAT, depending on the manufacturer. Additional charges apply for addresses in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man.
Chairs delivered by carrier are packaged in high-quality, sturdy boxes to eliminate any damage during transit. In the off chance there may have been damage in transit, please make sure you contact us within 2 days of delivery.
The chairs are packed carefully and securely, and as such, there is a small amount of self-assembly. These are not flat-packed, where you require tools. All components, such as arms, are already fitted with everything slotting together, so assembly is simple and speedy.
The PS06 and Xcel chairs and their variants may be delivered fully built, depending on location.
