Ergo-Postural PS07CC - Coccyx Task Chair with Pressure Relief seat Foam

EP07CC Coccyx Task Chair provides comfort and support where it matters using a pressure relief Reflexion© seat pad with a fully upholstered coccyx cut out. It features an extra high backrest with lumbar and sacrum supports. It also includes seat depth adjustment to accommodate people 5' 4" to 6' 2" (1.63m - 1.88m) tall and of average build.

An alternative is available for those who prefer the coccyx cut-out to remain concealed; the upholstery material can be extended over the top of the cut-out for a seamless appearance.

EP07CC features a mechanism with independent adjustment as standard; these adjustments are seat height and angle, including bodyweight tension control. The backrest is also angle-adjustable with height adjustment on a simple lift-up ratchet system. All the angle adjustments are lockable at any point along the scope of adjustment travel.  The chair is manufactured in the UK to our specification and conforms to BS 5459: Part 2:2000; the maximum weight loading is 150kg (23.5 stone)

An optional synchro mechanism with seat-mounted controls is available and accommodates both right- and left-handed users, and suits individuals with mobility challenges.

System Overview

The heated therapy system consists of three heated pads, which can be configured during chair manufacturing to accommodate individual preferences. Typically, one panel is positioned on each side of the lumbar area, with a third panel placed at the thoracic region. However, we can position the pads in any area of the backrest, if required. The pads are powered by a replaceable lithium battery, eliminating the need for cables and thereby reducing trip hazards while providing enhanced mobility for the user. When operated at moderate heat, the battery offers up to eight hours of continuous use.

Our revolutionary PostureSmart©   Pocket Sprung seat system is available as an option, with two choices: either firm or comfort.

This pocket-sprung seat system comprises individual pocket springs inside a foam casing and topped with a memory foam layer. It was developed to enhance posture and reduce pressure on the sacroiliac joints and the pelvic girdle, making it suitable for lower back pain and people suffering from sciatica. Posture-Pocket provides ongoing support to reduce spinal compression and improve core stability; it is an affordable option to the standard 3" (70mm) seat cushion.
