Xcel Petite has been developed to a precise specification and features a backrest designed to promote good posture and prevent hunching. The backrest includes inflatable lumbar support as standard and can be adjusted for both height and angle. The seat is adjustable for height, depth, and tilt, and is fitted with height- and depth-adjustable arms to allow closer access to the work area.

The seat pad features a Reflexion® 75 mm deep memory foam cushion. This layered foam helps distribute weight more evenly and reduce pressure points, particularly around the ischial tuberosities, or sit bones. It also helps relieve pressure on the lower back. Reflexion® foam is widely used in healthcare.

Xcel  Petite is fitted with an independently adjustable mechanism as standard, allowing the seat height and angle to be set separately, with bodyweight tension control included. The backrest can also be adjusted for both angle and height using a simple lift-up ratchet system. All angle settings can be locked at any point within the adjustment range. Xcel is manufactured in the UK to our specification, conforms to BS 5459: Part 2:2000, and has a maximum weight capacity of 150 kg (23.5 stone).
