Posture Active - Ergonomic Sit-Stand Chair
PostureSmart Sit-Stand chair is an exciting and unique chair providing the Perfect Posture position with multi-adjustment. The chair is not only height adjustable but due to the body weight tension control, the seat adjusts smoothly from a horizontal to a forward perch position, so allowing the chair to be used for prolonged periods and is extremely comfortable in the perching position.
The angle of the seat effectively provides a perfect posture when the seat is in the forward tilt position, this allows body weight to be transferred down your spine and legs just as if you were standing. This position provides core stability and helps to reduce spinal compression and so reduces back stress. The backrest is height-adjusted by simply lifting it up with eight pre-set levels.
The options include inflatable Lumbar and Sacrum Support that can be inflated to a comfortable level as and when required. There is now an option to have a larger 440mm longer seat if preferred at no additional cost. Details are in the options section.

Posture-Perch is supplied with glides as standard, however, there is an option for lock-on-load castors which will prevent the chair from moving when body weight is applied. These work great but to maintain the life of these castors the chair should not be pushed when the castors are in lock mode, an example is trying to push the chair away from the work area when seated. This will eventually cause the locking mechanism to fail and will invalidate the guarantee on the castors.

Chairs & Leg Rests
The production time for chairs varies depending on the model and quantity, and may take up to 15 working days from the date of your order. This period includes the manufacturing process for each chair, as well as the selection of options and upholstery colours.
After your chair/s are manufactured, we ship them via carrier or van using next-day delivery. For deliveries to mainland UK, this service is either free or costs £20.00 plus VAT, depending on the manufacturer. Additional charges apply for addresses in the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, and Isle of Man.
Chairs delivered by carrier are packaged in high-quality, sturdy boxes to eliminate any damage during transit. In the off chance there may have been damage in transit, please make sure you contact us within 2 days of delivery.
The chairs are packed carefully and securely, and as such, there is a small amount of self-assembly. These are not flat-packed, where you require tools. All components, such as arms, are already fitted with everything slotting together, so assembly is simple and speedy.
The PS06 and Xcel chairs and their variants may be delivered fully built, depending on location. All other products are generally shipped within 2/3 working days from ordering. Shipping is either by Royal Mail or other carrier on a 48-hour service.
