OPUS-TM was developed after a chair's request to replace a draughtsman style chair used in Toll Booths. These chairs generally failed fairly quickly, and many within 12 months after being put into use. These chairs were in constant 24-hour use and were operated on an 8-hour shift basis, so after 24 hours, the chairs were adjusted 3 times, and this was putting a strain on the gas lifts and the chair mechanisms.

TollMaster was developed to solve this problem by using a high-quality extreme duty gas lift and high-quality components for the chair mechanism, seat cushion and upholstery material. This has been successfully achieved with chairs that have been in use for 6 years without a problem and repeat orders being placed. 

TollMaster also has other beneficial qualities and Exceeds HSE Seating at Work Directives. We have used a mechanism with independent adjustment for the seat and backrest angles, the seat is also depth adjustable, and there is an inflatable Lumbar Panel in the backrest.  However, one of the advances in this chair is that the seat is pocket sprung, eliminating any chance of the seat cushion flattening over time. This naturally has orthopaedic properties helping to equalise pressure on the sciatic nerve, sacroiliac joints and pelvic girdle. They also help to reduce spinal compression and assists core stability.

TollMaster is ideally suited to anywhere a counter high chair is used, particularly in constant 24-hour use such as Toll Roads, Custody Rooms, Airports, Ports, and Customs Areas.
